the borders of Snowdonia National Park, Ty'r Graig Castle
is an enchanting Victorian guest accommodation
beautifully set on a cliff-top between the mountains and
the sea, boasting stunning views of Cardigan Bay.
Only 1/2 a mile out of Barmouth town centre towards Harlech it was originally
built in 1892 by the famous Birmingham gunmaker WW Greener.
He allegedly made the gun that was used by Doc Holliday
in the famous "GUNFIGHT AT THE OK CORRAL".
the Ty'r Graig still retains many of its original features
and style of the Victorian era with stained glass windows,
wood panelling, decorative floors and very elaborate ceilings,
whilst still offering modern day comforts.
Ty'r Graig is an excellent retreat for those seeking rest
& relaxation or a romantic escapade and is ideal for
that special occasion or celebration. Many who have returned
have even dubbed it 'a special place'.
Its location can also provide the perfect base for those
wishing to explore the surrounding areas.
